The Best Way to Get Mirage Again in Warframe

Mirage is among the most popular warframes in the game due to Mirage’s high damage potential and weapon buffing abilities. Mirage’s 3rd ability “Eclipse” is among the most popular and one of two weapon damage buffing abilities in the game.

Due to this, Many players get a second copy of Mirage to subsume it and Eclipse can be used on another Warframe using Helminth System.

After completing the Hidden Messages Quest, Cephalon Simaris and The Circuit from Duviri Paradox is the only way to get the Mirage component’s blueprints again in the game.

Get Mirage the First Time in the Game

If you are new to Warframe, you can get Mirage the first time after completing the Hidden Messages Quest.

Hidden Messages Quest unlocks after completing the Pluto and Sedna junction Throughout this quest, you will be given different puzzles, and solving them will lead to various missions across the Star Chart. Solving each puzzle will reward you with one component required to build Mirage.

The main frame blueprints can be acquired from the Market in exchange for credits.

Components Required to Craft Mirage

Just like any other warframe, to build Mirage you need 3 components: Mirage’s Neuroptics, System & Chassis. These components are rewarded after solving each puzzle in the Hidden Messages Quest. The table below contains the rewards and the solution of each puzzle in the Warframe.

There are two ways for players to get Mirage’s component blueprints in the game after the Hidden Message Quest:

  1. Cephalon Simaris
  2. The Circuits

Why Players Need a Second Copy of Warframe

Players already get Mirage and her components after completing the Hidden Messages Quest, so why would you need a second one?

You might be wondering the same thing, but in Warframe, there are several reasons for this. One of the main reasons is the Helminth system.

Mirage’s third ability, Eclipse, is one of only two abilities in the game that directly boosts weapon damage, making it popular with many Warframes. Eclipse is also the ability you can transfer to other Warframes through the Helminth system, allowing for unique playstyles.

However, the Helminth system has a catch: you can only subsume a non-prime version of a Warframe, and once you do, you lose that Warframe permanently.

That’s why many players farm a second copy of Mirage, keeping one for regular use and using the other with the Helminth system.

Now that you know, why you may require a second copy of Mirage. Let’s understand how you can get it.

Method 1: Cephalon Simaris

The most straightforward way for a new player to get Mirage components is through Cephalon Simaris. This syndicate has no ranks making it easier for players to farm a maximum of 125,000 Standings without any hinderance except the Daily Standing Cap in the game.

When you visit Cephalon Simaris, you’ll find that he offers various things including blueprints for Mirage’s Chassis, Neuroptics, and Systems.

Each of these blueprints requires 25,000 Standings, making this method both accessible for early-game players and easy to farm.

Tips to Effectively Farm Cephalon Standings

To farm Cephalon Standings, you will need to scan the enemy using Synthesis Scanners. The best way to do this is by using a stealth frame like Loki, Ivara, or Octavia. Here is a detailed video below to help you understand farming Cephalon standings effectively:

Method 2: The Circuit After The Duviri Paradox

Since the introduction of The Circuit after The Duviri Paradox release in the Update 33.0, farming warframe is much more easier thanks to The Circuits. Using this method, you can obtain Mirage components and main frame blueprints along with some additional rewards as well.

Getting Mirage Components from The Circuit

To obtain Mirage from The Circuit, you’ll need to complete specific challenges within this mode. The Circuit offers rotating rewards each week, and Mirage’s components can sometimes be part of these rewards. Keep an eye on the weekly rotations and participate in The Circuit when Mirage is available.

According to the official Warframe wiki, Mirage is available on the 6th week of 12 rotations. Here is the link to the article in case you want to understand the whole rotation.

Steps to get Mirage and Components Blueprints from The Circuit

Step 1: Before starting with The Circuit, you must be familiar with its mechanics and make sure that your Warframe and weapons are ready:

Selecting Warframe in The Circuit
Selecting Warframe in The Circuit
  • Select Your Warframe: At the start of Week 6, enter The Circuit and choose a Warframe that suits your playstyle. Ideally, I recommend picking a Warframe that can endure endless missions such as Survival or Defense.
  • Select Your Weapons: Choose weapons from your loadout that are effective in long, sustained fights. The Circuit allows you to use a pre-configured build if you already own the weapon or Warframe, making your choices easier.

Step 2: Navigate to The Circuit mode under the Duviri Paradox in your Warframe star chart during Week 6 rotation when Mirage is available for farming.

The Circuit includes multiple endless game modes such as Defense, Survival, Excavation, Void Flood, and Exterminate. The mode will cycle randomly, so be prepared for different mission types.

Step 3: Collecting Circuit’s XP to get Mirage and its components blueprints, you will need to progress through the stages of The Circuit. To progress through these stages, you must complete the objectives in the game mode and survive as long as possible. Each stage provides Circuit XP, which will unlock rewards:

  • Stage 1: 100 Circuit XP
  • Stage 2: 110 Circuit XP
  • Stage 3: 125 Circuit XP
  • Stage 4: 145 Circuit XP
  • Stage 5+: 170 Circuit XP per stage

Step 4: Collect Decree Fragments which will be blue diamond-shaped you will find throughout each round in The Circuit. What you can do with this is:

  • Collect Fragments: You can collect up to three Decree Fragments per round.
  • Obtain Decrees: Once you collect all three fragments, you receive a Decree, which provides a buff for that gameplay session.

Ps: Decrees are very crucial to boost your gameplay during The Circuit, so I recommend to be always on the lookout for these fragments.

Some tips to effectively farm Warframe using The Circuits:

  • Play in Groups: If possible, play with a team to maximize efficiency and survivability in The Circuit.
  • Use Decrees Wisely: Choose Decrees that enhance your Warframe’s strengths or mitigate its weaknesses.
  • Complete All Stages: Even after obtaining Mirage parts, continuing to complete stages can yield additional resources and rewards, including Arcanes and boosters.
